FEELIN' NASTY!

Jett has been so so sick the last few days with the stomach flew!!

I have washed about 20 loads of laundry, bedding 5 times, carpets twice, and tile about 3 times!! This has been some of the worst days of my life!! I really can't imagine having more than one kid being sick like this!! I need to have a nice long vacation!! But things are slowly getting back to normal, he didn't throw up today so that is a start!! If he is feeling well enough hopefully we can do some fun easter egg hunts!!

Today was such a fun day!

My cousins and I try to get together on Thursdays and play!! Today we ordered Mexican food take out and made aprons. (We made them out of ribbon, a fabric napkin and a flour sack!) I had so much fun! They got me a cake for my birthday and it was so yummy! I feel so blessed to have such good friends! Jett loved playing with his six little friends too!

LOT OF NEW CHANGES

Okay so I have been working on getting together a new post with all the things that have changed in my life in the last few months. I have taken before and after pictures so as soon as I get it together I will post them all and show you! One is that I turned 25 and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the phone calls!! I love you all! p.s. I got jetts test results back.....life is going to be hard!! He is pretty much alergic to all cow milk products!! Which stinks it is in everything!!

9- Who does the laundry? Oh me, but he will do a load or two once a week!! I don’t wash stinky basketball or work out clothes I make him!
10- Who pays the bills? I do, but he keeps track of every penny.
11- Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Jeremy does!
12- Who mows the lawn? Jeremy for sure he looks so sexy doing it, he always takes off his shirt! I LOVE TO WATCH!
13- Who cooks dinner? I do, but when he can he helps out!
14- Who drives more? I like too but we both drive and I would say it is pretty even, we like to switch it up!
15- Who is more stubborn? I think we both are pretty stubborn but I think I am more than he is and I think he would agree!!
16- Who kissed who first? I am pretty sure I kissed him first!
17- Who asked who out first? We just started hanging out more and more so I am not sure on that one!
18- Who proposed? Jeremy!
19- Who has more siblings? We both have 6 brothers & sisters, three boys and three girls.

Doctor Day

Yesterday we went to the doctor because Jett has been so sick, all I can say is I am glad that Jeremy was able to come with us! First off he has and ear infection and as some of you know Jett has been allergic to most cow milk products and now that he is 20lbs they were able to do more than a skin test, we went to the lab and had a lot of blood taken so we can have him tested for his allergies. Man it was hard to see that, Jeremy pretty much had to hold him down. I don’t think I could have done it by myself. It made me think of how grateful I am for my Heavenly Father it must be extremely hard to sit back and watch as we struggle but with-out the struggle we could never experience the joy. It will be a joyful day when we can finally pin point what this boy can eat!! After the doctor we went and bought him a hat and he wanted to wear it all day! It is a little big but he will grow into it. If he is anything like his dad hats are going to be a big part of his life!!

SICK DAYS AND SANDBOXES

On friday it rained so we had to get out and play.

LIFE IS BUSY!

Okay so I am not super good at updating but this past few week have been busy at our house!! Jett is 15 MONTHS!! Wow time flies! He got some new shoes that he LOVES and is always showing off! Jeremy took his last final so we are having a nice "NO School" brake and I got a new church calling!! I am the first counslor in the STAKE primary presidency yeah I am so excited!! It will be a fun calling! We are in the process of creating a new Blog for our class of 2001 so all my friends better check it out and post on it!!

A Day for Mothers

Today was such and amazing day, Jeremy and I went to the Arizona American Mothers (they are an interfaith, non-profit, non-political organization working as a dedicated force to strengthen the moral and spiritual foundations of the family and the home.) Honors Gala in honor of his Great-Grandmother Louise Larson she won the 2008 Mother of the Year award. She is such an amazing woman; she has done so many great and small acts of service and love through-out her life!! Jett is her only Great-Great Grandson! I look up to her so much and think she is the perfect person for the award! It is such a good program recognizing the accomplishments of Mothers and Motherhood, it was a good reminder to me of how important the work I am doing is!! I just want to give a shout out to all the MOTHERS I know!! You are creatures of divinity; you are daughters of the Almighty. Limitless is your potential!! I know sometimes things get hard and crazy. Keep your heads up!! You will be blessed for the great work you do!! It made me think how much I love my Mom and Julie! They mean the world to me!

Out for a Month!

If you all haven’t noticed it has been almost a month since I have posted anything on my blog. I can’t seem to get it together these days! I will try to do better just to keep you all updated on what we are doing. We had an amazing Christmas and New Years! We spent most of it with family and friends eating food and just relaxing!! I hope you had as much fun as we did!! I took about 300 pictures!! I got a new camera for Christmas and it has been put to work! I am going to share a few pictures to show you what we have been up too!

But one fact is that I LOVE this time of year, I love to decorate my house and I love all the smells I have 5 trees up this year, one big one and four little ones I love it!!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? For sure wrapping paper much more fun to open!

2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial I must admit I am a clean freek one year I did a real one and it made the biggest mess in my house so for sure fake!

3. When do you put up the tree? I try to put it up right after Thanks giving but sometimes it take me a few days to get it all down!

4. When do you take the tree down? A few days after Christmas I like to get it down so I can get ready for the New Year!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? I don’t really have one that is sticking out I loved everything my parents got me!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This past week has been one of the hardest weeks of my life!! I don’t think I have ever been so busy! My sister-in-law got married and my mother-in-law put me in charge of decorating the reception! It was so much fun and it came together nice!! I have to say that it was the nicest reception that I have ever been too!! It was out side and it was gorgeous! I have some pictures that I will try to post!! So that was Saturday night and the next morning at 8:00a.m. we had church! I had to teach. My lesson was on Gratitude and Appreciation, so fitting for this week!! So I thought that I would list the top 10 things that I am most thankful for!

1. My Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ for his distention in coming to this earth and suffering for my sins, and making it possible for me to return to his presence.

2. My life, my body and the chance to come to this earth at this time.

3. My eternal companion the love of my life Jeremy for his support, love and encouragement.

4. My son Jett the joy that he brings into my life, and the chance to be a Mom.

5. My parents and In-laws, for there on going support and love.

6. My friend and family for all the good times we have shared.

7. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the knowledge I have gained thought studying the scriptures and a Prophet to lead and guide me.

8. This country the freedoms I enjoy.

9. My beautiful home, a roof over my head to protect my family.

ONE YEAR OLD!!

We are so happy he is part of our family!!

Happy Halloween!!

This week has been pretty crazy for us!! Our home is all under construction, for the last week all the new crown molding and baseboard have been installed it looks so nice!! I have some before pictures so I will post some before and after pictures!! Depsite all the mess we dressed Jett up as a Lion and he looked so dang cute!! We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Smith's house and he got his first ring pop!!

While we were in Snowflake my sister Michelle had me go to the school with her and get Jetts pictures taken! I am so glad I did they turned out cute he looks so big!

Back to Life and Busy!

Finally after a week of being home I am organized enough to put some pictures of Jeremy’s Elk on my blog! We have been very busy getting life back to normal! This week Jace had two football games, JV and Varsity! We went to both of them Jett loves the games! Jace did very well, we are so proud of him. After Jace’s game on Friday night we went with Josh and Cassi McRae out for ice cream at Nelsons Frozen Custard! We had so much fun with them! You better believe that we saw like 5 other friends while we were there! Joseph and Heather Ballard were one of them! I am so excited for them, I have been there Realtor on there new house and it closes this week!! Yeah BALLARD!! Busy times Jett also turned 11 months on the 6th I can’t believe that he will be ONE year old next month! TIME is going by so fast!!
