I did my first canning!! I LOVED IT!! I had so much fun, I canned hamburger meat and chicken, it was really fun!! I think I could get more into it for sure!
A few weeks ago we had a fifth Sunday lesson at our church, it was combined and the few seconds that I got to listen really hit me hard!!! It was on family history. ( I know nothing of family history) But for some reason I felt really strong that someone on Jeremy's side of the family needed their work to be done!! So this last weekend we went to Snowflake for a little R & R and to try and get some family history from his grandmother, I had heard that she really didn't want any one to have it. Miracles happened this weekend!! I was able to get almost everything she had!!! I scanned in over 300 pages of family history!! Long story short yesterday I started putting all this work into the computer only to discover that Jeremy's Great Great Grandparents have NO Temple work done!! AND MANY MORE!!! I have truly been overwhelmed with all of this and I know that I have had ANGELS HELPING ME!!! THEN ONLY TO Discover that a new temple will only be one mile from my house I have felt so blessed!! I can't wait to get all these names in process!! I feel so blessed THANK YOU GRANDMA BETTE for giving me the chance to find these people! I LOVE YOU!

THAT IS SOO NEAT! I USED TO GO TO THE FAMILY HISTORY LIBRARY IN HIGHSCHOOL ALOT - BUT SINCE BEING ON MY OWN HAVE LET IT SLIP..I KNOW MY MOM IS REALLY ON TOP OF IT-- MAYBE THATS WHY I HAVE GOTTEN A LAZY ATTITUDE...AM I RETARDED..I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD CAN HAMBURGER AND CHICKEN..THATS AWESOME..NOW YOU CAN TEACH ME! JETT IS SO CUTE-- WE ARE TOTALLY ON FOR TUESDAY!
I can't believe how big Jett is getting. We don't get to see him enough.
Hey! that is really neat about the family history. I have started using that new family search website and I am so amazed at how easy it is to do family history now! It is great! I have had the same thing happen. I have found family members not that far back that have NEVER had work done! CRAZY! It feels so good to finally do the work they have been waiting for.
I just went to the cannery today and got some stuff but I really need to do some at home like that. You make it sound so easy! Maybe I will have to give it a try. I think we all definitly need to be getting more prepared!
Oh- and of course Jett is so cute! Daddy has some big shoes to fill there! :)
