Baby

On April 17th we welcomed a new little one to our family weighting in at 6.2lbs and 19 1/2 inches long at 10:28 a.m. Everything went really well and fast. Miss Colbie Marie Smith is so sweet and such a good baby!! I don't think there is anything like having a new baby in your home... I wish I was a better writer and would try to explain my feeling... Soft new skin and hair against my check is indescribable! I am smitten with this sweet baby!

Spring Break

Well this past week was our spring break. I tried to make it an adventure filled week with out going out of town. We picnicked, played at the park, played with friends, swam in the pool even though it was freezing, went to the movies, ate out a lot and skipped out on house work and laundry it was a nice break for me too! At the end of the week Jeremy and I decided to take the kids out to Denny's because kids eat free on Saturdays and we knew they would all eat good....I don't even think I can do this story justice but here goes! When we got there I ordered the kids chocolate milks almost immediately after we got the drinks Kannon dropped his under the table and flooded the whole floor of our booth. It was pretty much the whole cup full! I used all the napkins I had to some what mop it up, meanwhile Jett was working on a coloring contest page to turn in he didn't even sip his chocolate milk. Not even twenty min later he bumped his cup over the whole cup full went all over the table. I used every napkin our waiter had given us just to keep it contained on the table! Finally our food arrived and Jeremy's burger was less than up to par still being some what cold the manager came over and asked how we were doing and Jeremy being so sweet didn't even want to say anything but don't worry I piped in and he offered to compensate us the cost of the burger and let us all order a desert. It was all fine and good until the milk shakes came and Mr. Jett spilled his full milk shake all over the bench seat he was sitting on! At this point Jeremy and I were laughing so hard over all the spills I could barley see that Jett was crying hysterically over spilling on this master piece of art work. I quickly stole several silverware sets from other tables for the napkins and tried my best not to let the milk shake seep down the crack in the bench seat. "Um Mr. Waiter could you please come hose down the bench the smiths are sitting at?" With the kids eating free and Jeremy's burger free we would have pretty much robbed the Denny's lucky for them Jeremy insisted on paying for his meal but I still think we pretty much robbed them and left them with a hose down! Jeremy and I were laughing so hard the whole way home I thought my checks would burn up! Good times!:) Don't worry we got the spill off Jett's paper and he turned it in!

Life!

I have been getting larger and larger everyday but trying to enjoying all the small and simple things in my life and trying to enjoy having just three kids. Despite sleepless nights and swollen ankles we are doing good! Jett is doing really good in school and learning to read, he read a book about a mitten and had a whole bunch of animals in it. I found this little note not to long after!
Kannon is busy and more busy but sweet as ever! Miss Paityn is turning into a miss pris herself and most of the time refuses to put her diaper on!!! And I mean nock down drag out fits she wants "panniesss" so this is how we have spent a few days lately hopefully she gets it sooner than later!!:) life is good!

Kannon

Yesterday my sweet Kannon Jace turned four years old it seems like yesterday I was in the hospital having him! He is such a sweet fun filled ball of fire! This kid is literally 100 miles an hour all day everyday. He wakes up every morning asking for a hot dog or a ham sandwich! He is a super good eater he loves him a good steak!! Of course it must have steak sauce (A-1). He is all boy he wants to hunt wrestle, play in the dirt and do pretty much anything dad is doing! He is a big boy and its been hard with him because he has only been three years old but off the charts for height and weight. He now out weights his older brother by a few pounds. He is super funny and always telling jokes and laughing at everything. His favorite show is Tom and Jerry and could watch all day long! I love this kid he is such a sweet boy and I feel absolutely bless to be his mom and have him in my home!

Family hike

A few weeks ago we took the kids to the Gilbert riparian preserve and let the kids run around and look at all the birds and enjoy our nice Arizona weather we had a really good time!

Behind

Well I am a bit behind in my blogging so maybe I will catch up a bit! At the end of December just before Christmas we moved back home to our Gilbert house. Jett started a new school and I have been working on nesting and house projects with Mr. Kannon and Miss Paityn making messes right behind me! I added shelving to my pantry and garage. I had all the baseboards in the upstairs of my house ripped out several rooms painted and new base put in! My bedroom is the last of the painting and I will post before and after pictures. Man I have been busy! Here are a few pictures of our lives this past few months, some of miss pai and her messes she got into the peanut butter and spilled tons of sunscreen!

Exciting News!

Well the sickness has spread threw the whole family so hopefully we are moving past and on to better days! On a brighter note our family has some exciting news! In August we found out that our family would be growing by one more and last week we found out that it is a little GIRL or at least 80% it's a girl! I cried knowing my sweet Pai would have a sister like I have had I feel blessed to know she can call on her sister like I have on mine ! Someone to black friday shop with and a person you cry on her shoulder when you don't feel good! I love my sisters and I am so happy!

Sick days!

The last few days we have been down in the valley at our Gilbert house enjoying the nice weather and family! But some how I seem to be sick the whole time and missed out on a lot of the fun! Yesterday the 25th was Jeremy's dads birthday so we decided to hit there house on my way back to snowflake. Kannon ate good as usual hotdogs and whatever else he could find! Well at about 2:30a.m. it all came up! And I mean all! It took me about two hours to get it all cleaned out of the carpet! Despite not feeling well it's Monday morning and its 9:30 and I am still in bed! Happy Monday!

Snow

Well old man winter is here to stay and this little snowbird is still really enjoying the season change! Tonight was our adult session of stake conference it was so up lifting I feel certain the God knows who I am and is aware of me and there are no accidents! I feel so blessed tonight as the snow is falling and I am sitting next to a warm fire! That I am extremely blessed and loved!

I have a six year old!

Today Jett turned six! This kid has turned my world upside down! He made me a Mom! Kinda makes me feel old! On Saturday we had 10 little boys over and made "haunted houses" instead of ginger bread houses it was so much fun! I feel so blessed to be this little boys mom! Jett really is such a good kid! He is one that I could brag on for at least two pages and I am not just saying that because he is mine! I sometimes wonder if I am the right mom for him! This kid is super smart he is always doing good things he is a pleaser! His school teacher just thinks he is so smart and such a good boy! He is such a helper, loves his brother and sister and is very obedient now all we have to work on is liking food! He melts my heart! Happy birthday Jett!

Pumpkins!

Tonight was a perfect night! We ate good food had good conversation! Came home and carved us up some pumpkins the boys had a blast! I on the other hand opted for the easiest carving! Happy Halloween!

Life

The last few weeks have felt like time has been standing still. My world pretty much has gone upside down. We are excited to announce number four is on the way! But with that comes a crazy struggle for survival. I have been so extremely sick that yesterday I got a b12 shot and hooked up to a IV for hydration. I feel a little better today enough to do a load of laundry and feel blessed to be alive! It's amazing how we take our healthy body's for granite. I have a new appreciation for health today! This up coming Sunday we got asked to talk in church and I have a few things to do for my other three yahoos that I have to do this week! When it rains it pours but the blessings flow as well!

A little longer!

The past few weeks have been hard for me. I have has this inner struggle as to what to do with our little family. Go back to the heat and leave this simple quiet life with all my family or stay here a bit longer and not get to spend every night with dad? After much prayer and fasting we have decided to stay a bit longer! So it began I enrolled the boys in school and have not looked back once! These are some pictures of Jett's first day of school and Kannon's first day at busy bee! We are taking one day at a time enjoying every thing about our simple life! Coach Stan brought the boys some lobo hats and they have been wearing them non stop!
